The Waco Tribune-Herald reports a warrant was issued seeking the bullet that struck 53-year-old James Kenneth Anderson so that it can be compared to weapons seized May 17 following the shootout involving biker gangs that had gathered at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco.
Authorities transported at least 18 to hospitals and arrested 177 people. It's not clear how Anderson was able to avoid the heavy law enforcement response in the minutes after the shooting.
Anderson died in Nebraska when his motorcycle struck at least one deer in the roadway.
