The 100 mile ride is in honor of Colin Mosley, son of Brian and Dawn Mosley, who lost his fight to cancer last July.
Colin was originally diagnosed with a rare form of early childhood leukemia. After receiving a bone marrow transplant, he fought the donor marrow and he was diagnosed with Grafph Vs Host. He lost his battle with cancer because of complications from that.
Registration is at 10 a.m. at the diner. Participants leave the diner at 11 a.m. for the ride, then return to the diner for a car and bike show.
Cost is $20 per ride entry for bike or vehicle and $10 to enter the car and bike show.
There will be awards and a silent auction.
All proceeds benefit the Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids Foundation and the Joe Betustak Memorial Foundation.
The Angels of Mayhem is comprised of local emergency responders and military personnel who want to give back to their community by hosting and participating in charity benefits for various groups and organizations.
Brian Mosley is an assistant fire chief at the South Haven Fire Department.
