NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- Several Kingsmen Motorcycle Club locations were raided in Western New York Wednesday through a federal search warrant. This comes just a week after Andre Jenkins was found guilty for the shooting deaths of two Kingsmen Club members.
Neighbors of the North Tonawanda Kingsmen Motorycle Club said they woke up to a loud noise just after 6 a.m. Wednesday.
"It was two big bangs that you heard literally down the street I live down the street, that's when I heard it. My mom called me and said run down there real quick so I run down here and that's when I saw the door all pounded in and they were clearing everything out," said Brandon Baughman.
Neighbors said two logo signs that were on the club were taken down. Officers were seen making several trips out of the club wearing gloves and loading boxes into a van. Some neighbors expressed concern.
"Not too safe but a little more safer that it's all getting cleaned up," said Baughman.
The Oliver Street location in North Tonawanda is just one of several Kingsmen Clubs being raided through a federal search warrant executed by the FBI.
The Pine Street location in Olean had a strong police presence and officers were seen carrying several boxes outside of the Eagle Street location in Buffalo. An FBI spokesperson confirmed Kingsmen Clubs in Lockport and Niagara Falls were also raided, as well as two locations in Delevan that we are not able to confirm at Kingsmen Clubs.
These raids came just a week after Andre Jenkins was found guilty of shooting and killing two Kingsmen Club members at the Club in North Tonwanda last September. At this point, Time Warner Cable News does not know if there is a connection, but some neighbors said they don't doubt it.
"When it comes to a biker gang like that, there's always connections and they always will follow cases like that," said Baughman.
