self-described motorcycle gang member was charged with drunken driving while leaving a strip club with a dancer who had been sent home for performing an "unacceptable form of lap dance" on him, police said.
According to police:
Christopher Pond, 33, of Telford, Pa., was charged about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday when police responded to an alleged assault at the Round Valley Inn.
Pond was getting a lap dance from a woman identified by police only as "Giselle," who was there for her first day as a stripper. A bouncer said the dance was "unacceptable," and the manager told Giselle to put her clothes on and leave.
Giselle became upset and tried to punch the manager, who in turn tried to restrain her, police said.
Although Giselle told police the manager assaulted her, officers found no evidence she was assaulted, police said.
It's unclear why Giselle left with Pond, but police stopped Pond’s vehicle in the parking lot. Pond told police he was a member of the Pagans motorcycle club and vowed to have other Pagans "come to the bar."
He also told police his wife is a police officer. Pond later denied being married to a police officer and being a Pagan, police said.
A patrolman noticed alcoholic on Pond’s breath, police said. As he was performing field sobriety tests, Pond refused to continue, placed his hands behind his back without prompting and told the officers to "just arrest me."
Pond was later charged with drunken driving and careless driving. His vehicle was impounded and he was released to the custody of his girlfriend.
Giselle refused police help and walked to another bar. She is not charged with any offenses, police said.
