AM 1150 - News Talk Sports :: Appeal to be held for strip club with Hells Angels connections :: Local News: "The owner of a Kelowna strip club, which had its liquor license pulled because of Hells Angels connections, has won his right to an appeal.
The Liquid Zoo was shut down indefinitely in November of 2009 after investigation revealed one of the owners was a member of the motorcycle club.
The club tried to prove the Hells Angel member, Damiano Dipopolo, was no longer involved with Liquid Zoo, but the liquor licensing board was not satisfied with their evidence."
